Raise Capital Japan traces its roots to an accounting firm that supported foreign companies entering Japan, and has supported companies in Japan and abroad since 1999.
Today, CXO-class professionals work as a team across eight domains: business strategy, new business, sales expansion, alliances, overseas and Japan market entry, M&A and fundraising, and drive execution as PMO, advisors, advisory or FDE.

In 2024 we established our subsidiary Leading Startup Square, expanding a place where large corporations, startups and investors connect through an executive community.

History
- Sansei International Division established
Established by Takehiko Fukuoka as a spin-off of Fukuoka Consultants, after KPMG's financial and international tax practice, an assignment in the US and foreign companies
- Became independent as Sansei Trust Accounting Office
Built a diverse client portfolio centered on foreign companies in telecom, IT, financial services, consumer goods, manufacturing, real estate, pharmaceuticals and marketing, expanding as a bridge between overseas and Japan
- Mihata appointed Representative Director of Sansei Trust Consultants
Formed as the consulting arm of the accounting firm, serving mainly major foreign companies; began strategy consulting for major foreign and Japanese corporations
- Established Sansei AIM Consulting and transferred the consulting business to it
- Spun off; renamed Raise Capital Japan on September 1
Expanded the client base from large corporations to small and mid-sized ventures
- Launched the invitation-only executive community "Leading Startup Square"
